The Q&A Corner

Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

With lower overhead, excellent customer communication, high levels of experience, and a drive to get it right the first time, we tend to stand out from the rest. And it shows from our customer referrals, and repeat calls that we receive daily. Just check our "testimonials" section on our website.

What questions do customers most commonly ask you, and what's your answer?

When repairing any appliance the customers number one question is always "what is the best brand of appliance to buy?" Of course answering that question is not easy. The short answer is that all brands see repairs these days. We advise customers to research current products for sale on line, via both review websites, and Consumer Reports to obtain the most collective gathering of information.

What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

Many customers provide their failure over the phone, and ask for a repair cost within that same call. While this can be achieved for some more common symptoms, for others it cannot. In many cases there may be multiple possibilities relating to their failure. Customers should know that expertly repairing appliances requires an extensive thought process relating to the operation of the appliance, combined with intuitive question probing of the customer to reach the proper diagnosis.

What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

Potential customers should be patient and call more than one company to understand the median charges for repairs, also don't be afraid to ask your potential service company as many questions as needed (prior to scheduling) to satisfy your needs. Companies that try to avoid answering questions over the phone may be more interested in collecting your service charge, rather than making you satisfied with the repair. Always remember free and useful advice or answers over the phone goes a long way.

Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

Continuing education is essential with today's appliance technologies. We take advantage of all continuing education classes offered to allow us to maintain the expert service that we provide. Without this, appliance repair and diagnosis may be very difficult to stay current.

What are your most common types of jobs?

We get calls for all kinds, types, and brands of appliances. To say there is one more common than the other is moot. We have to agree, that the overall quality build of today's appliances lacks what their predecessors had, durability! We receive calls for restaurant equipment, industry equipment, and even some medical equipment. Laundry and refrigeration products always tend to top the list as they hold the highest necessity to their owners.
